Arpenteurs Professional Surveying was founded in 1988 by Robert M. Barcomb, RPLS. Since then the company has built a reputation for providing the highest quality product and for our dedication to our clients and to the surveying industry. Arpenteurs offers a wide variety of expertise to assist in a range of projects in the Central and South Central Texas Areas. We strive to meet or exceed the expectations of our clients. With nearly 20 years of business, Arpenteurs has developed and maintained a level of service to its clients that is second to none.

Robert Barcomb, RPLS, is a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors, American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, National Society of Professional Surveyors, American Association of Geodetic Surveying, and the Geographic and Land Information Society. Mr. Barcomb was the Secretary/Treasurer for the Capital Area Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors for two years.

We believe in professionalism and education for all staff members. During the company's existence, Mr. Barcomb has mentored many employees, six that have become Surveyors-in-Training (SIT), four of these have become registered surveyors, and three more that are currently studying to become SIT's. We believe that the greatest legacy for Arpenteurs will be the bright, eager young surveyors trained and mentored in our organization.
